Beat

SW 5th & Oak.

Volunteered at the phone bank for the No On 36 folks tonight -- great campaign, dull job. Three hours of calling people who're already tired of being called is even less fun than I'd imagined. And I didn't eat dinner either, so I'm fighting off a huge headache now. ugh.

I wonder what's going on behind those curtains ...

Evening front

Looking north a few minutes after sunset.

Spent the afternoon preparing for a nonprofit career fair tomorrow. Here's hoping for some good exposure...

One

A first post.
Black burned toast.
Gravied pot roast.
What love is most?
Went to The Grotto yesterday with Bonnie and took this shot in the outside mass area. Everything's so alive here.

It's turning into fall now, and I've given in and turned on the heater at night. Strange to finally be in a place where the coming of fall is a gradual process rather than waking one morning to find snow over the green grass.

I turned in my first timecard at the temp agency today. It's funny that when I was signing up with them, I hated everything about them, but now that I'm a regular (of sorts) I like them a lot more. I sometimes feel I'm selling out a little at a time...

Tonight there'll be french onion soup with croutons and cheese. G's studying, and there's Wilco playing quietly in the background. There's rain on the roof and a chill in the air.
